The self-adhesive masking fleece with a highly absorbent PP fleece top side is suitable for all interior and exterior painting and masking work, such as masking parquet, laminate, carpet, tiles, marble, granite, etc. The self-adhesive fleece offers reliable protection against mechanical damage and helps to prevent accidents by ensuring a secure hold thanks to its self-adhesive film underside. It therefore does not need to be fixed in place.
The self-adhesive fleece with adhesive foil side is ideal for covering sensitive floors or protecting furnishings, furniture, stairs, windows and much more.
Our Sima-Floor-Tec offers optimal protection against dirt and scratches during maintenance or renovation work. It can be laid out effortlessly and wrinkle-free. The lint-free, tear-resistant fleece enables precise cutting thanks to the clean cut edge and can be used several times thanks to its high abrasion resistance. It is also environmentally friendly, as it is free of harmful substances.
Note:
Sima-Floor-Tec foil side adhesive is not suitable for freshly laid floors, porous stone floors and clay tiles. This may result in staining or adhesive residue. In this case we recommend our product SIMA-FLOOR-TEC Breathable 180g. We generally recommend a test before laying.

During the certification process, our ABSORBI PRO nonwoven covering fabric with adhesive film side was tested in accordance with the GS-IFA-B02 test principle and meets all the required properties. But what exactly does this mean?
During painting and renovation work, it is essential to cover floors to protect them from contamination. If the materials are not sufficiently slip- and tear-resistant and are too easy to move on the surface, especially on stairs, dangerous accidents can occur. For example, due to ladders slipping and employees falling as a result.
To counteract this, the test principle GS-IFA-B02 was developed 8 years ago by the BG Bau and the Institute for Occupational Safety and Health of the German Social Accident Insurance (IFA) (1). The test method tests slip resistance, tear resistance and adhesive strength, among other things. The covering fleece may only slip minimally in both wet and dry conditions and no holes or tears may occur in the fleece. A special ladder test is also carried out (2).
Certified nonwovens therefore offer more occupational safety and are particularly stable. Below you can apply for an occupational safety premium from BG Bau.
